My name is Tonya Kerr, and I have proudly called Leeds home for the past 20 years. For 16 of those years, I owned and operated my preschool here in town, pouring my heart into early childhood education and the families we served. This year, I made the meaningful decision to step away from the preschool to focus fully on growing Merch, a business that continues to evolve with the needs of our small town.

Family has always been at the center of my work. My three children all live in the area, and my oldest daughter has taken on primary ownership of the preschool. My youngest daughter and daughter‑in‑law are deeply involved in the day‑to‑day operations, ensuring the program continues to thrive with the same care and commitment.

I have been married to my husband for 26 years, and together we love being part of the Leeds community. As Merch continues to grow and rebrand, I am dedicated to shaping it into something that truly serves our town. We recently purchased the historic Pioneer Hardware Store, which we are renovating into a versatile event space for celebrations of all kinds—including micro weddings designed to give even the smallest budgets a beautiful, memorable day.

Merch will also be expanding into party planning to help take the stress out of hosting, whether the event is big or small. My goal is simple: to create meaningful, accessible experiences for the people of Leeds.
